SAN ANTONIO – Deputies are responding to a “SWAT situation” in a Northeast Side subdivision, drawing a heavy law enforcement response, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.
There will be traffic delays and “disruption” for area residents, according to officials.
The incident began around 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the 4800 block of Knollcreek subdivision, off of Knollcreek Drive and Classen Road.
Details on what happened and injuries are still unknown. As of around 6 p.m., there were 15-20 deputies on scene, SWAT and K-9 units.
KSAT has a crew on site and Sheriff Javier Salazar is expected to give an update soon.
