Guess the rent of a San Antonio home on the Northwest Side – mySA

No more apartment vibes this week. I admit that I have been stepping into the Stone Oak area a lot lately when it comes to apartments, but this week we found a home. It’s a three-bedroom home on the Northwest Side in the Los Angeles Heights neighborhood at 1738 Lee Hall, San Antonio, TX 78201. The listing says that the home “has had a lot of love.”

I guess that’s what you call some of the color choices, fixtures, and accents in this home. It’s a quaint home and I can see people either loving or disliking the fixtures in this 1,536-square-foot home.

It’s just a three minute drive away from the Original Donut Shop and some great tacos. But does the neighborhood factor into its rent price?

Let’s find out

Already you can see the contrast in colors.

This is a massive room to greet people, which is a very retro design choice. This could be combination of living room or lounge area. You can already see the color popping with that yellow wall.

This looks like it might be an extra room near the kitchen.

This is either the extra room or just another view of the front room. Based on the other photos in this entry, I believe that’s the kitchen on the other side of that doorway. Let’s move on.

This home has a lot of interesting fixtures in its rooms.

These windows are small but somehow there is quite a bit of natural light pouring in. Those ceiling accents are interesting.

Maybe its the camera angle, but I don't think I could reach those cabinets without help.

Could you reach those cabinets near the ceiling?

Interesting color choice for this bathroom. There is only one for three bedrooms.

Craigslist

We’ve got our first pink bathroom of the year, y’all. It’s actually been a while. It’s an interesting choice but it somehow fits the home. Also, there is only one bathroom for three bedrooms, according to the listing. Yikes.

From this angle you can see the dining area.

This is the view of the dining area from the kitchen. And yes, those blue accents are all throughout the kitchen.

See? The listing also doesn’t mention any appliances that come with the rental.

So how much will you pay per month for this home? The Craigslist post says the cost is $1,750 per month. Zumper says the average rent for a three-bedroom home in the Los Angeles Heights neighborhood is $1,820.
