Not long after the opening of its first two Dallas-Fort Worth-area stores in Frisco and Plano, both having huge lines outside its doors, San Antonio-based H-E-B set its sights on yet another store north of DFW. H-E-B broke ground on Wednesday, November 17, on a 117,000-square-foot store just north of Fort Worth in Gainesville, according to a news release.
The store at 3451 Heritage Trace Pkwy. will be part of a master-planned community in Gainesville called Alliance, continuing the grocery store giant’s expansion efforts into the DFW area. H-E-B says that it plans to open the store sometime in the spring of 2024. It will join another Tarrant County location announced this year in Mansfield.
