A man is in critical condition after an apparent road rage shooting on San Antonio’s Westside on Friday afternoon, September 16, according to the San Antonio Police Department.

San Antonio Police Department Spokesperson Officer Rebecca Vermeulen said that police were notified of the shooting around 2:08 p.m. and found the victim, a Hispanic male, with two gunshot wounds in his upper body in the 6200 block of West Commerce. Officials said the shooting happened during a suspected road rage incident at Northwest 36th Street and Fortuna Street after the suspect opened fire against the victim, shooting him multiple times.
