Former Vice President Mike Pence will be in San Antonio on Sunday to talk about his faith and his recent book.
His appearance is set for 6:30 p.m. at Cornerstone Church.
“Mike Pence is a prominent political leader whose Christian faith remains the driving force in his life. A faith that keeps him at peace and ready to accept the next challenge,” says a promotion on the church website. “Loyalty is a vice president’s first duty; but there is a greater one — to God and Constitution.”
In his new memoir “So Help Me God,” Pence “shares the events and people who shaped his character and — most importantly — the faith that guided his every decision.” The church has billed the event as a “fireside chat and book signing,” with copies of the book available for purchase.
The event will be streamed live on the Hagee Ministries YouTube page; Cornerstone website and the church’s Facebook page.
Pence visited San Antonio in 2018 to deliver keynote remarks at a Republican National Committee donor luncheon in downtown San Antonio, before touring the border in McAllen with Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen and Sen. Ted Cruz.
