The missing 8-year-old girl from Texas may be in Colorado now, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation. Authorities issued an Endangered Missing Alert for Haven Barker, 8, late Wednesday, March 8, not long after Texas officials issued an Amber Alert.
Haven was last seen in the 200 block of Arneson Lane in Coldspring at about 8 a.m. Tuesday, March 7, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. Coldspring is a small town in East Texas, near Lake Livingston and Huntsville. The town, which is about 63 miles north of Houston, is over 1,000 miles to Colorado via car.
Haven is described as 4 feet, 5 inches tall, 60 pounds, with blonde hair and brown eyes. The person believed to have her is 50-year-old Charles Estep, who is described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall, 165 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
Officials said the two may be driving in a black 2015 Honda Accord with the Texas license plate PYS4575.
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation said it has reason to believe the two may be in Colorado.

The AMBER Alert System began in 1996 when Dallas-Fort Worth broadcasters teamed with local police to develop an early warning system to help find abducted children. AMBER stands for America’s Missing: Broadcast Emergency Response and was created as a legacy to 9-year-old Amber Hagerman, who was kidnapped while riding her bicycle in Arlington and was brutally murdered.
