Multiple people in custody after shots fired at home near downtown, SAPD says

SAN ANTONIO – Multiple people are in custody after shots were heard coming from a home near downtown, according to San Antonio police.

Just after 12 p.m. Saturday, an officer was responding to another call when he heard multiple gunshots.

After speaking with residents in the area, he was able to pinpoint where the gunfire was coming from — a home in the 300 block of Euclid Avenue.

Police heard people inside of the home and after opening the door, officers said they found multiple shell casings.

No one was hit by the gunfire and no injuries were reported, according to SAPD. However, several people were taken into custody.

It’s unknown if there will be any criminal charges. The investigation continues.
