North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce to welcome Amarillo National Bank – Community Impact Newspaper

The North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce is scheduled to hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 3 p.m. on Dec. 1 for Amarillo National Bank, which is opening its first San Antonio office and branch at 1020 N. Loop 410 E., Ste. 100.

Bank representatives said they held a soft opening for the new branch in early November.

Founded in 1892 as Amarillo National by early Amarillo settler B.T. Ware, ANB is managed by the fifth generation of Wares, with William Ware serving as president and Patrick Ware as vice chair.

Amarillo National Bank in 2019 acquired Lubbock National Bank, a purchase that included Commerce National Bank branches in Austin and Bryan/College Station.

Amarillo National Bank offers a range of personal and business banking service as well as wealth management.

The San Antonio branch lobby hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays. Bank representatives said the local branch will soon open a drive-thru.
