The National Weather Service is predicting another warm day for Thursday, March 9 with a small chance of thunderstorms at night near the areas of Fredericksburg and Langtry. While weekend weather will likely stay warm, cooler temperatures are expected to arrive in the area early next week.
Friday, March 10 will see isolated thunderstorms in the morning bringing slightly cooler temperatures across the San Antonio area and Texas Hill Country, according to NWS. Temperatures are expected to spike back up over the weekend with low temperatures ranging in the low to mid-60s and highs in the low to mid-80s on Saturday, March 11 and Sunday, March 12.
Going into the following week, temperatures are expected to drop into the 50s with some highs only managing to reach 66 degrees in San Antonio, Austin, and the Hill Country on Monday, March 13. Residents in parts of South-Central Texas might see a few rain drops on Monday and Tuesday, March 14, according to NWS.
The cooler temperatures will continue into Tuesday, March 14 with a low of 49 degrees and a high of 71 degrees in San Antonio, NWS says. Temperatures will stay in the low to mid-40s in the Hill Country and Austin with highs barely breaking 70 degrees.
