San Antonio food truck park StreetFare SA to close for good – mySA

San Antonio food truck park StreetFare SA announced the upcoming closure of its Austin Highway spot in a Facebook post on Monday, November 14. StreetFare wrote that the gates will close for good at the end of the day on Sunday, November 20.

Opened in 2018 by the Day family, StreetFare has hosted more than 100 different food truck options with shaded dining areas and a pavilion that features flat-screen TVs. In the post, the business mentioned that it will miss everyone who’s been to the truck food park located at 1916 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78218.

“It has been a great pleasure of mine to take this property from a long-time empty lot on Austin Hwy to what it is today! And I have greatly enjoyed serving you all the last 4 years, and I will truly miss all the food truck operators, employees, and customers I have grown close to during this time,” the food truck park wrote. “I know the park is closing, but you will still see many of the food trucks you have been able to enjoy here around the city, so please follow their social media to find out where to catch them!”

Before closing its doors for good, StreetFare will be offering $3 beer this upcoming weekend. The business said it also will be giving away free koozies with any purchase of beer. The food truck park also plans on hosting an open mic night from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, November 19.

The operating hours for the final weekend open will be from 5 to 11 p.m. on Friday, November 18, noon to 11 p.m. on Saturday, and noon to 9 p.m. on Sunday.
