The housing market cool down continues as San Antonio sees a decline in its monthly home sales for the fifth month in a row. Even though home sales are on the decline in the Alamo City, the San Antonio Board of Realtors (SABOR) says home prices continue to increase in August.
There were only 3,272 San Antonio home sales in the month of August, which is a 13% decrease for the same time last year, according to SABOR’s recent Multiple Listing Service (MLS) Report. The report states 98% of those home sales sold at the listing price. Bexar County saw a 16% decrease in home sales from August last year.
