Two men are in critical condition after an argument led one man to pull out a gun early Wednesday morning, March 1 at a house on San Antonio’s Westside, according to the San Antonio Police Department.

Officers say that four adult men were socializing in front of a vacant house early Wednesday morning when an argument prompted one of the men to pull out a gun and begin firing, according to the police. One man was hit three times, and another was shot once in his chest. The shooter reportedly fled the scene in a tan-colored SUV.

The San Antonio Police Department, Fire Department, and Emergency Medical Services responded to the double shooting in the 100 block of N. San Ignacio around 4 a.m. on Wednesday, police said.

Both injured men were transported to University Hospital in critical condition and detectives with the San Antonio Police Department are currently investigating the shooting, officials said.

MySA has no additional information, including the current conditions or identities of those injured during the shooting.
