AUSTIN, Texas (AP) _ SolarWinds Corp. (SWI) on Tuesday reported a loss of $622.1 million in its second quarter.

The Austin, Texas-based company said it had a loss of $3.87 per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 21 cents per share.

The provider of information-technology management software posted revenue of $176 million in the period.

For the current quarter ending in October, SolarWinds expects its per-share earnings to range from 19 cents to 21 cents.

The company said it expects revenue in the range of $180 million to $185 million for the fiscal third quarter. Analysts surveyed by Zacks had expected revenue of $185.3 million.

SolarWinds expects full-year earnings in the range of 81 cents to 86 cents per share, with revenue ranging from $715 million to $725 million.
