SAN DIEGO (AP) _ Teradata Corp. (TDC) on Thursday reported a loss of $4 million in its second quarter.

On a per-share basis, the San Diego-based company said it had a loss of 4 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 33 cents per share.

The data management company posted revenue of $430 million in the period.

For the current quarter ending in October, Teradata expects its per-share earnings to range from 27 cents to 31 cents.

The company expects full-year earnings in the range of $1.55 to $1.65 per share.
