It’s no secret that San Antonio loves to eat. With all the iconic restaurants and must-try eateries around town, who can blame us? But it turns out that we love to take pictures of our delicious meals when we dine out.
A new list from Yelp rounded up the 25 most photographed places in San Antonio, deeming them the “most Instagram-worthy businesses” of all time. Within the 25 local spots, most of the list is made up of restaurants, ranging from San Antonio mainstays to buzzy fine dining.
Mi Tierra Cafe & Bakery came out on top of the list, obviously prized for its location within Market Square and reputation as one of the most iconic restaurants in the city. It’s a favorite for locals, as well as a popular stop for tourists wanting to experience the spirit of San Antonio.
Mi Tierra was closely followed by a number of other downtown spots like Boudro’s (No. 3), The Esquire Tavern (No. 8), and La Panaderia (No. 9). San Antonio’s oldest restaurant, Schilo’s Delicatessen, came in at No. 24.
Other popular neighborhoods like Southtown and the Pearl filled out the top 10 with Cured (No. 5), Rosario’s (No. 6), Southerleigh Fine Food and Brewery (No. 7), and Bakery Lorraine (No. 10). Further down the list was The Guenther House at No. 17, Hot Joy at No. 23, and La Gloria at No. 25.

Notable restaurants further away from San Antonio’s city center filled out the rest of the list. Max & Louie’s New York Diner came in at No. 12, The Magnolia Pancake Haus at No. 14, and Sangria on the Burg at No. 15.
Local gem Comfort Cafe, which employs and benefits recovering addicts, was also ranked at No. 21.
