🌼 Spring Fever Fest blooms at Natural Bridge Caverns with music, wildflowers & ‘batty’ Easter egg hunt

Natural Bridge Caverns is celebrating spring with live music, wildflower fun and family-friendly activities every weekend from March 28 through April 19.

SAN ANTONIO — Spring doesn’t quietly arrive at Natural Bridge Caverns, it shows up with wildflowers, live music and maybe even an Easter egg hunt with a bat.

Beginning March 28, Spring Fever Fest returns to the Caverns, transforming the Hill Country destination into a month-long celebration of nature, family fun and hands-on learning. The festival runs every weekend from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. through April 19. Admission is free, though parking is $10.

Organizers say the goal is simple: help families reconnect with the outdoors while having a whole lot of fun. Guests can learn everything from potting succulents and herbs to identifying native Texas plants, all while enjoying live music, cornhole games, crafts and plenty of food options.

“Living and working in the Hill Country has taught me how closely we’re tied to the land,” said Joye Wuest. “Every bloom, every butterfly, every returning bird is part of a much bigger story. We created Spring Fever Fest to celebrate that story and to give people simple, practical ways to nurture it at home.”

Each weekend brings a new twist. Opening weekend, March 28 and 29, invites families to “Be a Bird Buddy” by learning how to make hummingbird nectar, maintain bird feeders and even create a butterfly puddler.

On April 4, the Easter Bunny steps aside for something uniquely Caverns: an Easter Egg Hunt hosted by the “Easter Batty,” with eggs scattered throughout the meadow.

April 11 and 12 focus on getting your hands dirty during “Time to Pot,” where landscape experts will demonstrate the right soil mixes for succulents, herbs and native plants.

The festival wraps up April 18 and 19 with “Bee Brave,” a stinger-free experience showcasing real beekeeping tools and teaching families about the vital role bees play in pollination.

For those looking to shake off winter and soak up Hill Country sunshine, Spring Fever Fest offers music, blooms and a reminder that nature’s comeback season is officially here. 🌸🐝🎶
