1 critically injured in road rage shooting in parking lot at Frisco High School, police say

FRISCO, Texas — Frisco police say one person was critically injured in a shooting in the parking lot of Frisco High School Thursday night that appeared to stem from a road rage incident.

Officers responded to a shooting call in the parking lot of the school, located at 6401 Parkwood Boulevard, earlier in the evening, according to a news release from the Frisco Police Department.

Police said the suspect has been detained, and the victim was taken to a local hospital with critical injuries.

Frisco PD emphasized that the incident did not involve any students and that there is no ongoing threat to the public.

Officials are asking people to avoid the area as the investigation remains active and ongoing. No further information has been released.
