The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a fatal crash in Bandera County.
BANDERA COUNTY, Texas — The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a fatal crash involving two vehicles in Bandera County.
Around 2 p.m. on Thursday, DPS troopers responded to State Highway 16 South near Purple Sage Road, across from the Bandera Landing Strip, after receiving reports of a crash involving two vehicles.
The preliminary investigation shows a 2019 Dodge Ram 2500 was traveling southbound on SH-16 when a 1999 Toyota Tacoma pulled onto the roadway from a private driveway, crashing into the Dodge truck.
Upon arrival, DPS says the driver of the Toyota was pronounced dead on the scene.
