
It happened at a gas station on Crosby-Lynchburg Road near the Crosby Freeway.
HOUSTON — One person is dead and several others hurt after a shooting in northeast Harris County Saturday night, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
It happened around 10 p.m. at a gas station on Crosby-Lynchburg Road near the Crosby Freeway.
Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said nearly 100 people were gathered in the parking lot when deputies got to the scene. He said it may have been for some type of benefit.
The sheriff’s office said a total of seven people — five men and two women — ages 16 to 25 were shot. Two were flown to a hospital and the remaining five were taken either by private vehicle or by ambulance to hospitals. One person was pronounced dead at the hospital.
HCSO said no suspects have been identified in this shooting and the weapon or weapons used in it have not been recovered.
