
A New Braunfels I.S.D school bus was conducting a routine drop off/pickup when a Toyota Corolla struck the rear of the bus, DPS says.
GUADALUPE COUNTY, Texas — The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) said a person was hospitalzied after rear-ending a school bus dropping kids off in Guadalupe County.
Around 12:30 p.m., DPS troopers responded to FM 752 near River Park Driver after receiving reports of a crash involving a school bus.
Preliminary reports from DPS suggests the driver of a 2024 white Toyota Corolla was travelling south when it struck the rear of a New Braunfels I.S.D school bus as it was conducting a routine drop off/pick up.
The driver, and sole occupant of the Toyota, was taken to a local hospital for treatment while all occupants of the school bus were unharmed, according to DPS.
This is an ongoing investigation.
