1 hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after shooting in San Antonio

Authorities said someone is in critical condition after being shot on the southeast side.

SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Fire Department has confirmed one person has been hospitalized after a shooting on the southeast side.

Around 4:30 p.m., SAPD responded to the 3500 block of Bob Billa Street after receiving reports of a shooting.

Upon arrival, SAFD said they found a person suffering life-threatening injuries from a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

Officials have not released the identity of the victim, nor did they confirm if a suspect is in custody or not.

This is an ongoing investigation.
