KERRVILLE, Texas — A young animal advocate from League City is making a very special delivery to a Kerrville animal shelter that has taken care of over 350 pets in the Fourth of July flooding.

11-year-old Kamryn Balfour has a passion for animals and wanted to make a difference after she saw the devastation caused by the flooding. She set out on a mission to bake and sell 1,000 cookies to help raise money for the pets she knew were impacted by the flooding that took place a mere 20 miles from her own summer camp.
