
Police say a 14-year-old boy was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after a late-night shooting on the city’s southwest side.
SAN ANTONIO — A 14-year-old boy was taken to the hospital after being shot late Saturday night on San Antonio’s east side.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, officers were called around 11:51 p.m. to the 3200 block of McArthur Avenue for a report of a shooting in progress.
When officers arrived, they found the 14-year-old boy with an apparent gunshot wound to his lower extremity.
Police said the teen did not provide suspect information and did not tell officers how the shooting happened.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to authorities.
Police say the case remains an active investigation, and details released so far are subject to change.
