19-year-old arrested after police say he repeatedly abused his 4-month-old baby

SAN ANTONIO — Disturbing details have emerged surrounding a father police say admitted to repeatedly abusing his four month old baby.

According to arrest documents obtained from San Antonio Police, Daniel Aguilera, 19, brought his child in for rib and skull fractures after he claimed they both fell onto the floor.

A review of the child’s x-rays also showed leg and clavicle fractures in different healing stages.

When questioned, police say Aguilera admitted to Child Protective Services that he abused the child on different occasions out of frustration when they would not stop crying.

Documents reveal he took the child to the hospital once he discovered a bump on its head after repeatedly striking the child in the head.

Aguilera is facing four counts of injury to a child.
