
San Antonio police say a 19-year-old man suffered serious injuries after his Honda Civic was struck by an unknown vehicle, causing it to roll over on SW Loop 410.
SAN ANTONIO — A 19-year-old man was hospitalized with serious injuries following a rollover crash Saturday night on the southwest side of town, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
Officers were dispatched around 9 p.m. to the 10900 block of SW Loop 410 for reports of a major accident involving a rolled-over vehicle.
Police say the 19-year-old was driving a 2010 Honda Civic when he was struck by an unknown vehicle. The impact caused him to lose control of the car.
Investigators say the Honda crossed over a grass median and came to rest on the access road after rolling over.
The driver was transported to a local hospital with serious bodily injuries. Authorities have not released an update on his condition.
Police say the other vehicle involved did not remain at the scene. The investigation remains ongoing, and the information is subject to change as detectives work to identify the driver.
