SAN ANTONIO — Two people traveling in a sedan were airlifted to a San Antonio hospital after a Thursday afternoon wreck that also involved a Pleasanton ISD school bus, according to law enforcement officials.
The victims haven’t been identified, but the assistant police chief in Pleasanton said they were flown away in critical condition.
Pleasanton ISD Superintendent Cheryl Barron said more than 40 students ranging from Pre-K to high schoolers were on the bus at the time. None, she added, sustained major injuries, and the driver is also expected to be OK.
The crash happened before 5 p.m. in the 2100 block of Second Street on Thursday afternoon.
Barron said a reunification center for parents to locate their children was set up at Pleasanton Primary.
