2 carjacking suspects arrested after crashing stolen work truck on the north side, police say

SAN ANTONIO — Two suspects have been arrested after allegedly carjacking a man and crashing his work truck, according to police.

San Antonio police say the two suspects, aged 17-20 years old, carjacked a 42-year-old man’s truck at gunpoint, fleeing the location.

Officers were eventually able to locate the stolen vehicle, and shortly after, the suspects crashed the truck around the intersection of Jackson Keller and Blanco Road. During the crash, police say the truck also hit a civilian, who has been taken to the hospital in unknown condition.

Both suspects have been arrested, and it is unclear what charges they face as of Thursday morning.

Officers so far believe this carjacking was random.

The man whose truck was stolen was not hurt.
