
An 18-year-old was arrested and charged with intoxicated manslaughter with a vehicle, according to jail records.
FORT WORTH, Texas — Fort Worth police said two people died after an overnight crash on Interstate-35W and Garden Acres Drive.
Officials said the accident happened at 2:08 a.m. after a car was driving the wrong way in the northbound lanes of I-35W. The wrong way driver hit another vehicle, killing the two in the other car, police said.
According to jail records, Fort Worth police arrested 18-year-old Axel Perez and he faces charges of intoxicated manslaughter with a vehicle.
The names of the two people killed will be released by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.
