Investigators believe an altercation broke out between several people just before shots were fired at the Casa Del Sol Apartments.
SAN ANTONIO — Two men are dead after a shooting outside a northwest-side apartment complex early Sunday morning, according to San Antonio police.
Officers were called just after 2 a.m. to the Casa Del Sol Apartments on the 7800 block of Callaghan Road for a report of a shooting-in-progress. Upon arrival, police said officers found a 26-year-old man lying near the front entrance of the complex with a gunshot wound.
The man was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
As they continued to search the area, investigators said they found a second man lying in front of a door between apartment buildings. He had also been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said that man has not yet been identified.
