2 hospitalized after ‘major accident’ in northeast San Antonio

Both the driver and passenger of the vehicle that allegedly caused the crash were taken to a local hospital.

SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Police Department says two people were hospitalized after a “major accident” on the northeast side.

Around 4:30 a.m., SAPD responded to the 5900 Block of East Evans Road after receiving reports of a major crash.

Preliminary information suggests a passenger of a Grey Infiniti that was traveling southeast bound called reported the crash after the driver allegedly crossed over into the northwest lanes and crashed into a Gray Ford F-150.

The driver of the Infiniti was evaluated and was not found to be intoxicated.

The passenger who reported the crash and the driver were both taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

This is an ongoing investigation.
