2 men arrested after road-rage incident leads to man being held at gunpoint, SAPD says

SAPD said when they arrived at the scene, they saw a man holding another at gunpoint after an apparent road-rage incident.

SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Police Department responded to a road-rage incident on the south side.

Around 4 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Fair Avenue and Piedmont Avenue after receiving reports of a possible shooting.

When SAPD arrived, a man allegedly was holding another at gunpoint.

The preliminary investigation suggests two men were involved in a crash on the highway before one of the vehicles drove off. The driver of the vehicle that was allegedly hit followed the vehicle that struck him before they eventually crash again near the south-side intersection.

SAPD said both are being looked at as suspects, but no charges have been filed at this time.

KENS 5 was able to obtain video from a witness on the scene showing one of the men holding the other at gunpoint before police arrived.
