
One of the drivers suffered two broken legs, according to officials.
SAN ANTONIO — A crash early Tuesday morning sent two people to the hospital, leaving one of them with serious injuries on the city’s northeast side, according to San Antonio police.
The collision happened around 2:27 a.m. at an intersection near the 17100 block of O’Connor Road. Investigators say two sedans crashed under circumstances still being reviewed by officers.
A man in a Volkswagen sedan was trapped inside his vehicle following the impact. First responders worked to free him; officials say he suffered two broken legs. He was transported to a local hospital in serious condition.
The second driver was also taken to a hospital for evaluation.
Police say the driver of the Volkswagen will undergo assessment for a possible intoxication.
