Someone in Central Texas is millions of dollars richer after they purchased a winning lottery ticket Wednesday, but they have yet to claim the winning ticket. The Texas Lottery says someone purchased a Powerball ticket at a games and lottery store called Winners Corner located at 7817 Rockwood Ln., Suite 101B, Austin, Texas 78757 on Wednesday, according to the website.
As of Thursday afternoon, the Texas Lottery hasn’t said that someone has claimed the winning Powerball ticket. The Powerball game, like Mega Millions, is played when someone picks five winning numbers to win the second-tier prize of $2 million. If the person picks the matching Powerball number, they win the jackpot, which is currently sitting at $535 million.
