SAN ANTONIO — Bexar County fire officials said a 2-story structure fire has been contained after being exacerbated by propane tanks on the south side.
Just before 5:30 p.m., fire crews with Bexar County ESD and personnel from Atascosa County responded to the 18800 block of Pleasanton Road after receiving reports of a structure fire.
Officials said they believe the home could’ve been under construction and the fire was exacerbated by propane tanks.

Fire crews were reportedly able to quickly put out the fire, but a big concern for them was how close the fire was to brush and trees amid the Red Flag Warning in place.
Authorities say crews are continuing to put out hot spots in a nearby vegetated area and the cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
