VAN, Texas — Two people were taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash involving an 18-wheeler on westbound Interstate 20 near Van.
According to the Van Fire Department, westbound traffic is backed up about five miles from mile marker 534 because of the crash. Both drivers are receiving treatment at a hospital.
Drivers should expect heavy traffic and delays as these scenes are cleared.
DPS Safety Sgt. Chris Williamson said one lane is closed because of the crash.
Van Fire said the Texas Department of Public Safety, Van Police Department, Van Zandt County Constable Pct 4 and the Van Fire Department and the South Van Zandt FD are on scene.
