SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Police department says they have identified 20 victims so far after reports of homes and vehicles being spray painted on the far north side.

Around 7:30 a.m., SAPD responded to the 14000 block of George Road after receiving reports of graffiti.

Upon arrival, several vehicles, fences and homes were spray painted with crude depictions and “graffiti signatures”. Police say two vehicles consisted of religious and racially defamatory slurs.

Authorities say they have identified 20 victims so far in this case, and empty cans of spray paint with the corresponding colors to the crime were found behind the homes on that same block.

Officers have contacted the residents of the home as the investigation is being looked at as a hate crime.

Anyone with information regarding this case is urged to contact SAPD’s Property Crime Unit at 210-207-8326.

This is an ongoing investigation.
