AUSTIN, Texas — For another year, Jacob’s Well will be closed to swimmers during the summer months.
On Wednesday, the Hays County Parks Department said the popular swimming spot is suspending its 2024 swimming season indefinitely due to the low water levels.
Hays County officials will reevaluate water conditions on a monthly basis to determine whether or not swimming could be allowed later in the year.
