Castle will be competing against some solid dunkers at the NBA Dunk Contest.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Spurs‘ Stephon Castle is set to take his thunderous dunks to the 2025 NBA All-Star Dunk Contest, and now we know who his competition will be.
Castle will attempt to bring the Spurs the franchise’s first dunk award but will compete against Bulls’ Matas Buzelis, Bucks’ Andre Jackson Jr., and the 2-time defending dunk champ, Magic’s Mac McClung.
Castle should put on a show at the annual contest. He has been throwing down impressive dunks this season. He can explode to the rim, throw down ferocious dunks, and elevate.
SPURS-HAWKS GAME TIME CHANGE
The NBA announced that the tipoff for the Spurs’ game against the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday, Feb. 5, has been moved to 6 p.m. CST. The game will still be televised nationally on ESPN, but fans across South and Central Texas can watch it locally on FanDuel Sports Network Southwest.
This game will be of interest to Silver and Black fans. The Spurs own Atlanta’s picks in the 2025 NBA Draft, and a Hawks loss will help the Spurs’ chances of landing higher draft spots.
