2025 MLS jerseys ranked: Here are the best and worst new kits this season

DALLAS — Major League Soccer (MLS) released its new kits for all 30 teams this month ahead of the 2025 season start on Feb. 22. 

Each MLS club alternates getting new jerseys every year, so some have replaced their home kits, while others replaced their road kits. Two clubs in MLS have new kits for both home and away: new expansion club San Diego FC (makes sense, it is necessary) and Inter Miami CF (hmmm… go figure).

Some of them are pretty plain and boring. Others look awesome. If you disagree with my rankings, that’s fine to be completely dead wrong (kidding, a little). Here’s how I stack them out:

Scrap it. Start over. Do not pass go nor collect $200.

Bleh. You could do better.

Not great. Not terrible. Literally “mid” as the kids say nowadays.

I’m giving fans a compliment for these on the street. Nice jersey! 

I would buy these kits in a hurry if I was a fan of these teams. In fact, I’d probably already have one in my closet by publication of this article. But, I’m not – still though. These are objectively fire.
