21-year-old in critical condition after crashing motorcycle in San Antonio, according to police

Police say the motorcyclist was driving at a high rate of speed. He allegedly lost control on a curve and crashed into a guard rail.

SAN ANTONIO — A 21-year-old man is fighting life-threatening injuries after crashing his motorcycle Friday night, according to officials.

Just before 7:30 p.m., the man was riding his motorcycle northbound on the on-ramp from San Pedro Avenue to US Hwy 281 N.

Police say the motorcyclist was driving at a high rate of speed. He allegedly lost control on a curve and crashed into a guard rail.

He suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital where at last check he was in critical condition.

No other injuries were reported.
