Witnesses say the victim and suspect were in a previous relationship.
SAN ANTONIO — Authorities said a woman, who investigators say was forcibly taken from a downtown location early Wednesday morning, was found and the CLEAR Alert was discontinued.
Officers were called to the 300 block of Labor Street for an assault in progress around 5:30 a.m. but upon arrival, both the woman and the suspect were already gone. The victim has been identified as a 27-year-old woman. She is described as being 4-foot-10 with black hair and eyes and weighs about 115 pounds. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt and blue jeans.
Police said the woman was forcibly taken to a different location in a White Dodge Ram. Witnesses told police the two had previously been in a relationship and that the woman was placed in the vehicle before the suspect drove off in an unknown direction. The suspect is believed to be a 35-year-old man.
SAPD, along with the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office and Atascosa County authorities are working on this investigation.
Because of the circumstances, investigators released a flyer with the woman’s information as the search continued.
