Deputies say a fight started when the now arrested suspect, Brian Travis Reynolds, changed the name of the victim’s Netflix account.
SAN ANTONIO — The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office has made a second arrest in connection to a shooting and assault on the far west side.
18-year-old was arrested Anthony Constante on Friday and BCSO was searching for Brian Travis Reynolds before he was located and arrested Saturday
Deputies say a fight started when Reynolds changed the name of the victim’s Netflix account.
According to an arrest warrant, the victim told deputies he was “tired of being disrespected” and wanted to fight Reynolds after the Netflix diss.
On Tuesday, the victim went to a house on the 6000 block of Calle Briseno and that’s when deputies say Reynolds and Constante jumped over a fence, ready to fight the victim.
The heated exchange was all caught on video.
Deputies say Reynolds had a gun and the victim told him to “fight like a man.” Reynolds passed the gun off to Constante and started trading punches with the victim, records say.
Constante allegedly started pistol whipping the victim and handed the gun back to Reynolds. Investigators say video shows Reynolds with his finger on the trigger and when the victim tried to get the gun away—it went off.
Deputies say they believe the victim was hit when the bullet ricocheted off the road and blood began pouring from the victim’s head.
Constante and Reynolds both face charges for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
