
San Antonio Park Police arrested three people after a large fight at Hemisfair.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Park Police arrested three people early Sunday morning following a large fight at Hemisfair, according to a preliminary report.
Officers responded to the 600 block of Hemisfair Plaza Way around 2:36 a.m. after reports of a fight.
Upon arrival, multiple people were detained at the scene. While trying to separate the parties involved, one of the suspects, a 20-year-old woman kicked and spit on a Park Police officer, according to SAPD.
Police said the fight initially started as a verbal confrontation between the two groups which eventually turned physical.
According to the report, two men, both 21, were identified as the main aggressors in the fight and were arrested for assault causing bodily injury against members of the other party. No major injuries were reported.
Authorities said the 20-year-old woman was arrested for assault on a police officer and harassment of a police officer.
The investigation remains ongoing.
