3 employees killed in shooting at northeast-side San Antonio business; suspect at large

SAN ANTONIO — Three people were killed in a shooting at a business on the city’s northeast side Saturday morning, and the suspect remains at large, according to San Antonio police.

Officers responded around 7:45 a.m. to reports of a shooting in progress on the 4400 block of Stahl Road near O’Connor Road.

San Antonio Police Chief William McManus said the incident happened at a landscape supply company and involved employees of the business.

“I don’t know the motive, but it was not random,” McManus said at the scene.

McManus said the shooting is believed to have occurred inside the business. Officials also said there may be additional victims who were wounded, but that information has not yet been confirmed.

Police said the suspect has not been located. Residents in the surrounding neighborhood are advised to stay indoors.

Officials have not released descriptions of the suspect or the victims.

The investigation is ongoing and information is subject to change.
