Police said a shooting at a landscape supply company left three dead Saturday morning. The suspect was later found deceased.

SAN ANTONIO — Three people were killed in a shooting at a business on the city’s northeast side Saturday morning, and the suspect is now dead, according to San Antonio police.

Officers responded around 7:45 a.m. to reports of a shooting in progress at the Mission Landscape Supplies located on the 4400 block of Stahl Road near O’Connor Road.

San Antonio Police Chief William McManus said the incident involved employees of the business.

“I don’t know the motive, but it was not random,” McManus said at the scene.

McManus said the shooting is believed to have occurred inside the business. Officials also said there may be additional victims who were wounded but that information has not yet been confirmed.

Residents in the surrounding neighborhood were advised to stay indoors while officers searched the area for a suspect who was described by police as a man in his early 20s, approximately 5’8”, slim built, with a goatee and wearing black a shirt with black pants.

At around 11:40 a.m. McManus confirmed via X that the suspect was found deceased from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. SAPD said there is no longer a threat to the public.

The investigation is ongoing and information is subject to change.
