3-month-old dies after being found unresponsive at San Antonio home, police say

The child’s cause of death is currently unknown.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police said a 3-month-old boy was pronounced dead after being found unresponsive at a home on the far west side Saturday morning.

According to SAPD, officers were dispatched around 9:49 a.m. to the 7600 block of Muleshoe Lane after the child’s father found the 3-month-old unresponsive and called emergency services.

Officials said SAFD personnel attempted life-saving measures but despite their best efforts, the infant was pronounced dead at the scene.

The child’s cause of death is currently unknown. Police said the investigation remains ongoing and information may change as more details become available.
