Just days before the end of its 10th anniversary year, The DoSeum welcomed a very special visitor — its 4 millionth guest — on Monday, Dec. 22.
The milestone moment came with plenty of fanfare. The lucky guest was surprised with confetti, a welcome banner, special commemorative medals, and an appearance by Baxter the Robot, The DoSeum’s newest mascot.
Museum leaders say the celebration was a fitting way to cap off a decade of hands-on learning, imagination, and play for children and families across San Antonio and beyond.
Since opening its doors, The DoSeum has become a staple for interactive exhibits focused on science, creativity, and problem-solving — and Monday’s milestone marked just how many young minds have passed through its doors.
Officials say the museum looks forward to welcoming millions more curious visitors in the years ahead.
