The child died from their injuries at a local hospital.
SAN ANTONIO — A child was killed after being struck by a vehicle outside a New Braunfels apartment complex Thursday afternoon, according to the New Braunfels Police Department.
Police were called to the 700 block of I-35 N for a reported traffic accident involving a child and vehicle.
Officers arrived to the scene and determined that a 4-year-old child had been hit by a vehicle in an apartment complex parking lot and sustained serious injuries.
Police said the child was provided life-saving measures before being taken to a local hospital where they died from their injuries.
The incident is currently being investigated by the New Braunfels Police Department Traffic Unit.
