Officials at the I-35 Checkpoint in Laredo decided to take a closer look at a blue tractor trailer on Saturday, March 29.
After a K-9 alerted them to the drugs on board the big rig, they pulled 51 packages of alleged cocaine weighing about 130 pounds from inside the vehicle.
Officials say the drugs are worth around $4 million dollars.
Both the driver and illegal drugs were turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration to be charged accordingly.
