5 things to do: Enjoy the last weekend of the Stock Show & Rodeo, brave the cold with these weekend events in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio is shuddering its way through some of the most bitter cold of the season, but that’s no reason why you can’t get out and enjoy yourself this weekend.

Most of our top picks for the best things to do this weekend are happening in the shelter of warmth, but for those willing to layer up, we also have an option to support local artists while buying new art to take home.

Here’s what’s on tap for this weekend.

‘Peter Pan’ at the Tobin Center

Catch Ballet San Antonio’s magical production of “Peter Pan” at the Tobin Center through the weekend. Choreographer Brian Enos teams up with composer and sound designer Zac Colwell to bring to life the nostalgic tale and take audiences into the enchanted world of Neverland.

When: Friday, February 21 – Sunday, February 23 (showings at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.)

Where: Tobin Center for the Performing Arts (100 Auditorium Cir)

Cost: Tickets start at $36 and can be purchased here.

Home & Garden Show

Also happening throughout the weekend, bring the family out to the San Antonio Home & Garden Show and inspire your next home project.

With hundreds of booths to explore and several unique feature displays to enjoy, this is a valuable event for all San Antonio homeowners. Whether you have a specific project in mind or you’re just looking for some inspiration, the exhibit has you covered.

Rodeo concerts

The 2025 San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo wraps up this weekend, but not before some final star-studded performances. Nelly takes the Frost Bank Center stage on Friday and Nate Smith on Saturday followed by Dwight Yoakam.

Don’t miss your last chance to take part in all the rodeo fun.

Jeremy Piven

Award-winning actor, comedian and podcast host Jeremy Piven, who starred in the HBO series “Entourage,” will bring his successful comedy tour to the Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club this weekend.
